Portland Oregon Aug. 12, 1965 Secretary of the Air Force Washington, D.C. Att. U.F.O. Unit Birs, The writer and three friends were encamped at Tillicum Beach Camp about three miles south of Waldport, Oregon on the night of Aug. 4, 1965. Some time between 10 and 10:20 P.M. P.D.T., we observed high overhead, U.F.O. similar to a bright star moving in a broken line with varying intensity. It moved thru (+) or (-) 5° arc under our observation.
