UNCLASSIFIED REPORT OF SIGHTING OF "FLYING DISCS" OR OTHER 8 PHENOMENA IN THE ATMOSPHERE RESTRICTED Date of sighting 2 August, 1949 Time (2045) Location of sighting From Port O'Connor Lifeboat Station, Port O'Connor, Texas; lookout tower, object bearing 265° true from station. Weather conditions Partly cloudy, very light breeze, Electric squall had passed west of the station about an hour before object sighted - squall was still visible in Southwest.
