Object appeared bright and appeared to be across the street but did not illuminate the area. The flight path was east to west with some slight descent. Investigating officer stated that several people in

The following information is submitted as required in paragraph 14, AFR 200-2.

a. Description of the object:
(1) Shape: Round like a light bulb.
(2) Size compared to known object: 4 foot diameter, 6 foot long.
(3) Color: White.
(4) Number: One.
(5) Formation, if more than one: Not applicable.
(6) Any discernible features or details: Light bulb shape.
(7) Tail, trail, or exhaust

(5) The object disappeared instantly to the right (West) of the observer approximately one block.

(6) The object was visible to the observer less than one minute.

c. Manner of observation:

(1) Ground - visual.

(2) Optical aids used: None.

(3) Not applicable, observer was standing on the ground.

d. Time and date of sighting:

(1) 0500-7 April 1966.

(2) Light conditions: Night with moon.

e. Location of observer: In driveway of home, Enid, Oklahoma, Latitude 36°24'N, Longitude 97°53'W.

k. Position, title and comments of the preparing official: Chief, Operations Plans Branch. On the evening and at the time of the observation other people observed a meteorite in the sky at the same relative position as described by the observer. The observer had spent the evening in the house watching television at the home of a neighbor. As she opened the car door to ride home she observed the reported UFO. The only significant difference in her description and others
