Gallon of the Eleventh Naval District.

Naval instructions 3820.1 of Nov. 4, 1952

I. Brief Description.
A. Physical description - Of the same brilliance as a
very bright star on a clear night in a location such
as the desert where the air is clear. The object
glowed with a reddish light and appeared to have
a slight oscillating movement as it moved across the
sky.
B. Sound - None that was discernable to us. We were
camped in a quiet and

P. Speed - This can be calculated. P. was observed approximately 30 degrees above the horizon in the north traveling east, covering an arc of approximately 80 degrees. This took 35 to 45 seconds. Distance that was covered was no less than fifty miles and possibly much more.

C. Altitude - 20,000 to 30,000 feet if approximately the size of known aircraft.

D. Type - no idea.

IV. Location.

A. Physical location - Eight miles northeast of Prescott, Arizona at the Kiwanis campground.

B. From us - Observed in the north, traveling east. We were relaxing in hampocks and watching the stars.
