Narrative

Three (later four) Texas Tech faculty (Robinson/geology, Oberg/chem eng, Ducker/petroleum eng, Heineman/math) observed v-formation lights overhead 25 Aug 1951. Repeated sightings through Aug-Sep. Carl Hart Jr. photographs 30 Aug 1951 independently corroborate. Ruppelt investigated personally; Project Blue Book classified the visual sightings 'unknown'. Plover/streetlight explanation contested by TX Tech biology department head and game warden.
