Narrative

USAF RB-47 reconnaissance aircraft tracked an unknown object over 700+ miles July 17 1957 from Mississippi to Texas. Airborne ECM detected signal at S-band radar frequency; multiple ground radars including Duncanville also tracked; visual confirmation by crew. James McDonald analyzed extensively. Condon Report could not resolve. Often cited as the best single-incident multi-sensor UAP case.
