Narrative

On 28 August 1956 at approximately 1000Z, a civilian housewife in Adona, Arkansas observed a bright object that at first glance looked like a star but was much larger, giving off rays. The object was stationary in the east at the same elevation observed on three different dates from approximately 0430(C). At approximately 0500(C) it moved east and a little south. The 825th Air Division at Little Rock AFB submitted the report to Air Defense Command on 12 September 1956. Major James B. Vogler, USAF, Deputy Director of Operations, had no comments.
