Narrative
On 29 September 1955 at 0045Z an observer near Omaha, Nebraska (789th AC&W Squadron) reported a round, pinhead-sized red object. The observer had reported numerous sightings that month. Earlier sightings were investigated with conclusions of astronomical nature. The three observed positions of this object compared with those of Capella, Arcturus, and Alphecca. The object was lost in clouds. Concluded probably astronomical.
