Narrative
At 2305 Central Standard Time on 5 June 1953, civilian Tommy Dowborn telephoned Tinker AFB and reported sighting three objects looking like stars with tails that glowed traveling south over Muenster, Texas. One object made a wide 180-degree turn and headed north; the other two continued south. Speed was estimated at 2000 MPH at 60,000 feet altitude. Flight was straight and level except for the 180-degree turn. No sound was heard. Weather was clear with 15 MPH winds.
