Narrative

In August 1949 at about 1400 hours, U.S. Forestry Service fire lookouts Robert and Regina Bromley observed a dull silver-white space-ship-like object approximately 100 feet long from Delilah Lookout east of Fresno, California. The object appeared from behind a mountain, moved slowly down a valley, then hovered for 15 minutes (the witnesses felt it was observing a dam under construction). It then moved away at 20-40 mph toward Fresno. Sighting lasted 30 minutes. Object had two small swept-back wings, long narrow windows, and a rear hole resembling a jet exhaust. The Bromleys believed it was a secret experimental military craft. Sighting was reported in August 1952; entered in Delilah Lookout Log.
