Narrative
Between 11 July 2109E and 12 July 0200Z 1956, a DuPont Company gate engineer NW of Wilmington, Delaware observed a single round flat pink-fluorescent object the size of a quarter, with pink-fluorescent light, moving in steady level flight from south to north. Sighting via naked eye. Reported via Flight Service Center Olmsted AFB. Headquarters concluded the duration, level flight and straight course substantiated an aircraft hypothesis.
