Narrative
On 8 May 1956 at 0940Z to 0943Z, then again at 0945Z to 0946Z, a point of light the size of a pinhead, bluish in color, was observed from the CAP office at Crestview Airport, Florida. Observer was Lt Jesse J. Anderson. Object elevation 6 degrees, azimuth 290 degrees true from Crestview Airport CAA office. Flight path 10 degrees left of vertical to 15 degrees right of vertical then straight up; distance, altitude and speed unknown. Object faded from sight, observed approximately 3 minutes via ground visual and clinometer. Headquarters concluded: possible aircraft.
