Narrative
On 28 May 1955 at 1297Z (dawn), a GOC observer at Klamath Falls, Oregon sighted a round white object larger than the morning star, moving east to southeast. The object was observed 30 degrees above the horizon initially, finishing at 60 degrees, over a duration of 1 hour 12 minutes until overcast moved in at 1310Z. Observation was ground-visual with binoculars. Resolved as possibly weather balloon due to wind, time, and proximity to balloon releasing point.
