Narrative
At 1935Z on 19 May 1955, a writer in San Fernando Valley observed an extreme delta-shaped silver object flying at high speed and very high altitude, heading north. Object rolled while in flight and rolled out of sight overhead, in view for four to five minutes. Sky was clear with slight haze. Investigation by Flight 1-C concluded the sighting was caused by one of several jet aircraft flying in the area; delta wing hypothesis was discounted after checking with military installations using that type.
