Narrative
On 29 April 1955 at 0839Z over Pendleton, Oregon, an observer reported a saucer-and-plate shaped object about 1 foot across, white, with vapor trails. The object was overhead and headed north until out of sight, visible for 1 to 2 seconds. Weather: light rain, 500 ft overcast, poor visibility. No radar or weather correlation; report suggests observer may have misinterpreted a peculiar contrail formation.
