Narrative

On 14 February 1955 at 2320-2330Z, an observer traveling east on Missouri State Highway 6 sighted a disc-shaped object hovering. The object had windows visible (per attached diagram). After the observer went into a draw and came back out, the object had disappeared. Total observation time was 20 to 25 seconds. Report prepared by 2nd Lt. Arthur T. Young, 790th AC&W Squadron, Kirksville AFS.
