Narrative

A civilian credit manager in Kinston, North Carolina observed an oval, football-shaped blue-green object with a constant incandescent-style light. The object passed through the field of vision at approximately 25 degrees elevation, traveling straight and level, then passed behind a tree. Duration was 3 to 5 seconds. Weather included haze up to 4,000 ft and a corona/halo on a half moon. The witness appeared normal but disclosed information with slight reluctance; no explanation of the sighting was offered.
