Narrative
On 6 January 1953 between 0130Z and 1130Z, multiple observers reported a mysterious light in the sky northeast of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Billy Johnston of Paris, TX chased the object by car for thirty minutes toward Cooper, TX. Tinker AFB AC&W picked up a target by radar 21 miles SW of Paris moving west at 600 knots at 7500 feet, faded after 11 minutes. Sightings continued through dawn at Love Field tower in Dallas. Several explanations were investigated.
