Narrative

On 28 January 1956 at 1215Z, a civilian observer went outside to look at birds and observed a single round silver object 14 inches diameter, diminishing to basketball size, over the north corporate limits of West Palm Beach to south corporate limits of Riviera Beach, Florida. Object approached from NE, passed overhead, made an orbit and then proceeded south. Object diminished in size until out of sight. Observation lasted approximately one hour. Visual only, no optics used. Reported by 1707th ATW.
