Narrative
On 8 October 1954 at approximately 0290Z, an observer (described as a civil engineer, color blind) sighted a round object the apparent size of a half dollar at arm's length, with a protuberance on the left side and a tail approximately the same length as the object that appeared to move side-to-side as if wind-lashed. Object's azimuth was east at ground level, appeared to travel in an arc toward the ground, and disappeared behind trees. Duration three seconds. Wing Intelligence Officer (Major) listed cause as unknown.
