AF-505601 — 1953-01-02 — Highway 91 between Wolf Creek and Great Falls, Montana
Narrative
At 0345Z on 2 January 1953, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Williams, and Miss Wills observed a silver saucer-shaped craft (two saucers face-to-face, approximately 30-35 feet diameter) along Highway 91 between Wolf Creek and Great Falls, Montana. First sighted above the horizon five miles distant, the object moved to about 100-200 feet above the river within 50-100 yards of observers, then climbed out of sight. A red glow came from the bottom, increasing as it climbed, with haze around the middle. Estimated speed 3,600 MPH. No sound. Object was in horizontal position throughout. Weather was clear with bright moonlight. Affidavits were collected from all three witnesses.
