Narrative
On 10 February 1956 at 0200Z, a 48-year-old grocer and GOC observer (320 hours) in Alger, Michigan sighted a single round volleyball-sized red object held at arm's length, with color cycling red-pink-red. Object had a short tail. Tracked due west from 80 degrees elevation at azimuth 270, descending to horizon at 270 azimuth over 15 minutes. Visibility 7 miles, clear. Reported via 30th ADIV (Def) Wurtsmith.
