Narrative

On 9 January 1956 at 1848 EST, a photographer and his wife sighted a round glowing object near Coral Gables, Florida. The object moved on a straight course at constant speed from NE to SW, was slower than a meteor, made no sound, and trailed a tail three times longer than the object. The 602D AISS resolved the sighting as a meteor based on description and movement.
