Narrative
On 3 July 1956 at 0818Z near Kingston, Washington, a US Army E-2 artilleryman of 513th Missile Battery observed a single dime-sized red object at 060 degrees azimuth, elevation 60 degrees. The object became bright then red, faded out, and re-appeared. Total observation time was 35 minutes via visual means. Reporting officer concluded apparently aircraft light or a star such as Antares.
