Narrative

Between 0243Z and 0345Z on 25 September 1956 (and reportedly also on 27, 28, 29 August 1956), a round object the size of a baseball with red, green, and silver coloring was observed via binoculars at Fort Collins, Colorado from the Colorado A&M campus. The object moved north, turned west, then flew from north into west on a straight and level path before fading. Duration approximately one hour. The report was telephoned to headquarters from the Colorado Springs GOC Filter Center. Lt. Machyowsky later contacted Capt. Sanderson at Lowry AFB who could supply no further details.
