Narrative

An oval/streaming object was observed by a CAA tower controller at New Castle County Airport, Delaware, and a second observer near West Chester, Pennsylvania. It moved in a straight line horizontal to the ground from SW to NE, then broke into several smaller objects that disappeared suddenly. Duration was reported variously as 4 seconds to 30 seconds. One observer used 7x50 binoculars.
