Narrative
On 15 February 1956 at 2325Z (dusk), a housewife with 70 hours of Ground Observer Corps experience at Empire, Michigan (GN 3635) observed an object via binoculars for 10 minutes. Object had multiple colors - red, orange, white, blue - heading south at 5,000 ft. Still in sight when reported. Weather: M-3300 ft overcast, 5 miles visibility, scattered snow showers. Report by Capt Donald M. Kansier, 661st AC&W Sq Selfridge AFB. Considered opinion of preparing officer was that further investigation was unnecessary.
