Narrative
At 24/0220Z July 1956 two teenagers (both 13-year-old students) at the Municipal Airport in Pensacola, Florida observed two round objects emitting a constant yellow-orange glow. The objects appeared close together for about five minutes at 45 degree elevation and 90 degree azimuth, then separated with one moving much faster than the other before both disappeared to the south. Total observation about ten minutes. Eglin Air Proving Ground Command investigation correlated this sighting with experimental night refueling operations using searchlights conducted by F-100s and KB-50 in same area at same time.
