Narrative
M/Sgt USAF observer at 1707th Air Transport Wing, Palm Beach AFB noticed object after going out to lock his car. Object first observed to left of observer at 75 degrees elevation (east), moving west at terrific rate of speed at approximately 20,000 feet, then stopped at 270 degrees azimuth (far west). Object dropped straight down to 2,500 feet, proceeded on heading 100 degrees a short distance and stopped, then moved slowly at 180 degrees for a mile and stopped, veered to 195 degrees and climbed to 20,000 feet again. Series of stops, direction changes, and disappearances/reappearances over 3-4 minutes. Transport aircraft and one T-33 trainer in area. Intelligence Officer noted possible cause unknown.
