Narrative

At 1400 EST 14 November 1954, civilian on MD-2 noticed sudden car-radio interference of large magnitude, looked around for cause, and saw a circular saucer-like object ahead and to the right of his car at approximately 2,000 ft elevation. Object made a slight curving climb and disappeared rapidly in level flight after about 1 minute. Multiple corroborating witnesses (three other car occupants and three other carloads who stopped to watch). Report made verbally to the AF Development Field Representative at Camp Detrick, Maryland.
