Narrative

At 1628 CST on 21 April 1955 over New Orleans, Louisiana, the pilot of ANG B-34 sighted a large unidentified silver object resembling a delta wing, estimated at 15,000 ft and motionless over the city. The aircraft was on a heading of 300 degrees at 100 mph and 3,000 ft. The follow-up investigation report concluded the sighting was probably aircraft.
