Narrative
At 0230Z on 10 August 1956, an engineer in Woburn, Massachusetts observed a yellow disc/comet-shaped object. The object was at 30 degrees elevation 360 degrees azimuth, moved left/right and up/down before fading after 30 minutes. Observation was both ground-visual and via 10x50 binoculars. Weather was clear with light winds. The Senior Director (1st Lt) noted radar indicating acute temperature inversion.
