Narrative
On 22 June 1955 at 2030 EST (23/0330Z), four ellipsoidal-shaped objects with brilliant yellow glow were observed flying over Bethesda, Maryland. The objects had no trails, were approximately size of a dime, and moving northeast to west at estimated 40,000 ft altitude. Observed for 20 seconds with aid of 7-power scope by an observer interested in astrology who was observing stars. Weather was clear with stars visible. Preliminary analysis believed observer probably sighted jet aircraft trails at a lower altitude than estimated.
