Narrative

At 2400Z on 8 November 1954, a civilian housewife in Tennessee initially observed what she thought was a car headlight reflection through her windshield. When the objects appeared to stop, she concluded they were not reflections. Two round nickel-sized silver objects appeared from the southeast and headed northwest until almost overhead; then the rear object accelerated past the front object, after which both changed direction back to southeast. The husband pulled off the highway, briefly obscuring the objects behind trees, after which they had nearly disappeared into a cloud. Total observation period approximately several minutes. Investigated by Flight 2-B, 4602d AISS.
