1953-06-20 — Shawnee, Kansas (11920 West 51st Street; observed from front
Narrative
On 20 June 1953 at approximately 6:50 PM from her front porch in Shawnee, Kansas, Mrs. Mabel K. Long observed two round flat objects resembling wagon wheels, hammered silver in color, against a blue sky. One was slightly behind the other so she could see about three-quarters of the rear one, with something appearing to connect the two together. The objects vanished without her seeing where they went. The duration was about 10 seconds at an azimuth of 120 degrees from true north and 5 degrees above horizon, with elevation increasing as they moved. Mrs. Long was deemed sincere by the investigator.
