Narrative
On 19 August 1956 at 0607Z (PST 2207 19 Aug), a round dime-sized object with alternating blue and white light was observed at Tacoma, Washington. Object formed a triangle with two stars, moved from east to west at high rate of speed before stopping. Light intensity increased and decreased. Sighting continued for over an hour with object still observed. Limited investigation conducted by Flight 1-A 4602D AISS. Temperature inversion noted at the surface to 5000 ft altitude.
