Narrative
On approximately 3 March 1956 at 3045Z, an F-86D from the Larson AFB area obtained an airborne radar contact at 45 degrees right of the aircraft, elevation unknown, that moved up the scope very rapidly and faded. The blip was observed for 30 to 45 seconds during E-4 maneuvering against low cumulus cover. The 763rd ACWRON controller was consulted and stated they experienced a normal fade. The 4602D AISS requested ATIC analysis of the returned radar data sheet.
