Narrative
At approximately 2045 hours on 2 April 1952, twenty or more observers across Temple, Evant, and Stephensville, Texas saw a round ball of fire with a greenish glow and red/yellow tail travel south-to-north for 10-40 seconds. The object emitted smaller balls of fire that burned out and disappeared behind clouds. Speed estimated 500 to 6,000 MPH at altitudes 10,000 to 150,000 feet. Two observers were airborne in an RB-26 at 4,500 feet.
