Narrative
A San Francisco civilian (flight service clearance officer) and his wife observed a round, bright reddish-bronze object the size of a pinhead on 10 May 1955 at 0530Z. Object appeared slightly south of due west at 10 degree elevation, remained stationary for 4 minutes then appeared to accelerate northwest for 1.5 minutes before fading completely (5.5 minutes total). AISOP concluded probably the planet Jupiter due to description and direction, though observer's certainty of rapid movement is noted.
