Narrative
On 12 August 1956 at 0500Z, a 25-year-old civilian and his sister in Brockton, Massachusetts observed a single oval object approximately 1 by 2 feet long with a brilliant yellow light and a thin bright exhaust tail surrounded by green light. Object went from 45 degrees elevation/180 degrees azimuth to 68 degrees elevation/360 degrees azimuth in a straight line, then faded away after 30 minutes. Observed via ground visual with naked eye. Weather excellent, southwest 8 knots wind, unlimited visibility. S/Sgt Lucenti at Manchester GOC believed report to be a star.
