1954-11-25 — San Antonio, Texas
Narrative
On 25 November 1954 at 1800Z, a civilian eye-witness observed a round white object the size of a half-dollar held at arm's length hovering and flying over San Antonio, Texas. The day was clear with 15 miles visibility, scattered cirrus at 30,000 feet, no thunderstorms, no balloon releases at the time. The Kelly AFB control tower contact returned negative results, and no local air traffic was reported. Major L. V. Marlin and SAAMA Base Security Division Chief Major J. G. Davis prepared the report dated 2 December 1954. OIC Flight 2-C, 4602D AISS, was tasked with limited follow-up.
