Narrative

An engineer with Aerojet Corp of Sacramento, his wife, and 8-year-old son observed the object at 03:30Z on 29 May 1955. Object traveled in a straight line from south to north at level flight, estimated 12,000 feet MSL, at greater speed than a jet aircraft. Visible for 5 seconds before fading from sight. Observer flight of four reciprocating engine aircraft in area two hours prior.
