Narrative
On 5 March 1956 at 0322Z (night), a 16-year-old GOC instructor in Racine, Wisconsin observed through binoculars a round white object the size of a shirt button held at arm's length. The object was reportedly flying low at approximately 800 feet, circling. It disappeared 'as though it were a light and someone turned it off.' Observation duration was thirty minutes. Weather was clear with 15 miles visibility. The 755th AC&W Squadron at Williams Bay, Wisconsin submitted the report; the 4602d AISS evaluated and concluded probably a searchlight.
