Narrative

On 1 July 1956 at 0108Z (dusk), a civilian salesman southeast of Louisville, Kentucky observed white object(s) (one or two) reported as smaller than a locomotive, with a tail visible when descending or turning. The object(s) traveled fast at altitude 5,000 to 20,000 feet. Investigation noted aircraft were in the area at the time. Description fit aircraft and the 4602d AISS concluded possibly aircraft.
