Narrative
At approximately 2045 EST on 4 March 1953, Mrs. Gohn of Village Drive, Syracuse, New York observed a dirigible-type object with holes in its sides and a flashing yellow light at treetop level approximately 3 miles from Hancock Field. The report was relayed through the GOC Filter Center at Syracuse to the 655th AC&W Squadron at Watertown. Mrs. Gohn stated this was the third such sighting; others occurred a month prior and on 3 March 1953. Not picked up on radar.
