Narrative
At 0836Z on 14 July 1955 at Glennavon, California, a student observer saw a round red dime-sized object moving faster than a jet at 10,000 feet, heading east then west. Object covered approximately 2 miles in 4 minutes. Investigation suggested possibly the after-burner of a jet aircraft could account for the description. A/Lt Kenneth D. Weber was controller.
