Narrative
On 5 March 1956 at 0115Z, six observers including a guided-missile design engineer, a housewife, a highway patrolman, a state highway officer, and two city policemen at Graham, North Carolina reported a round basketball-sized object whose lights changed from red to green to amber. The object flew SSE moving up and down for 40 minutes before disappearing normally. Investigation was assigned to Flight 2-B, 4602D AISS, by Lt. Alexander. Astronomical and balloon hypotheses were to be exploited first.
