Narrative
On 19 February 1955 at 1845 PST (20/0245Z), a US Navy yeoman 3rd class on a beach party at Pacific Beach, California, observed nine blue dime-sized objects tracking 270 degrees in five formations (2-1-3-2-1), with three in close V formation. They were observed heading 90 degrees and west; the three-object formation started diving slightly before fading out due to distance. Each flight visible 3-5 seconds. Witnesses included two female civilians and a Marine. Conclusion: possibly aircraft or astronomical.
