Narrative

On 29 December 1956 at 0445Z, the AACS Det control tower operator at Oxnard AFB, California sighted a bluish-white ball with a whitish tail traveling through the Oxnard AFB traffic pattern. Tracked from 15-degree elevation/270 azimuth to 15-degree/200 azimuth in straight track for 4-5 seconds, with a final flash.
