Narrative
On 7 July 1955 at approximately 1620Z near a Fort Holabird installation in Baltimore, Maryland, SOURCE and other observers watched a spherical bright silvery object about 4 feet in diameter, blown by light wind toward them and landing about 100 feet away. The object was a mass of tiny bubbles, blown across the ground until stopped by a wire fence. It began to evaporate without leaving a trace; SOURCE collected a small portion of substance. Investigators concluded likely a soap bubble from nearby industrial processes.
